You'll need:

1. Approximately 150 yards of light to medium weight chenille yarn2. A pair of size 7 US needles3. Crochet hook or yarn needle4. Scissors

Gauge: 20 rows for every 4 inches and about 17 stitches

Size: the end product is 50 inches long and 6 inches wide

Let's start!

1. Begin by casting on 26 stitches.

2. Row 1: knit two, *purl 2, knit 2. Repeat the process from * across.

3. Row 2: purl two, *knit 2, purl 2. Repeat the process from * across.

4. Row 3: Repeat the process in row 2.

5. Row 4: Repeat the process in row 1.

6. Repeat all 4 rows until the scarf measures about 50 inches.

7. Bind off in pattern (work your bind off in the same way that you would work the row if you were not binding off).
